I would strongly advise all website owners to NEVER put email address on their websites.

Putting an email address (linkable or not) on a public website means you are allowing your email to be farmed by spammers to use or sell your email address to other spammers.

Lately I have had numerous discussions with customers in regards to upgrading their websites from older versions of Joomla to the newest supported version - Joomla 3.6.4. Support for Joomla 2.5.28 has now ended and I am recommending that my customers consider upgrading their sites to the supported stable version. Version 3.6.4, is now the stable version, and as a result, security patches will no longer be provided for any older versions of Joomla.

From April 21, 2015 Google will actively improve rankings of mobile-friendly sites. If your site's not mobile ready, your traffic is at risk. If your site's not mobile-friendly, this means you'll rank poorly on Google, and less customers will find you. That's bad for traffic, and business.
